SCEE president David Reeves admittedly said that while piracy on the PSP “is a problem”, it has fueled hardware sales.
According to mcvuk.com, Mr. Reeves said that “There is a piracy problem on PSP. We know about it, we know how it’s done. It sometimes fuels the growth of hardware sales, but on balance we are not happy about it.”
He also added that Sony will be introducing new ways of eliminating piracy for their handheld.
